Bachelor in Computer Science (Network Security and Digital Forensic) is created to educate and entertain students who are seriously interested in the world of cyber security, hacking, and forensic. As in the programme has named, this programme is trying to highlight the importance of cyber security, as technology advances and organization depend on technology increasingly, information assets have evolved into critical components of survival. This programme need a highly creative student, as securing the network and hacking activities involves creativity and thinking ‘out-of-the-box’. Students also will learn on how to do vulnerability testing and security audits to ensure that organizations have adequately protected their information assets.
Note: Candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with a credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.
Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
Candidates without credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level but has taken a Mathematics course taken at Diploma / Foundation level with at least a C grade can be admitted such that the curriculum has equivalency with Additional Mathematics at SPM level.
